In this year's challenge, teams can score blocks and balls into a variety of different locations in addition to rescuing climbers and scaling the mountain.

During the autonomous period, robots can score points by “resetting” rescue beacons, returning climbers to shelter, parking on the mountain, and parking in the rescue beacon repair zone or floor goal. During the driver operated period of the game, robots may also score points by placing debris in mountain or floor goals, as well as by hanging from a pull-up bar during the last 30-seconds of a match.
